Carlos Tevez starts his sentence

CCTV footage of the Manchester City striker starting his 250 hours of community service for two motoring offences
The Argentinian striker, 29, was ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work last week after he admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance.
The Sun revealed he would be handed cleaning duties — and these exclusive CCTV images show his gleaming white Porsche pulling up at the site in Cheshire before parking up beside a row of haulage trucks.

Punishment ... Tevez
Tevez — expected to play in tonight’s derby with Man Utd — then walked with his hands in his pockets to meet his greenjacketed probation officer before being handed his orange bib.
The Premier League star, who brought an interpreter, soon learned his task was to clean and tidy a 30ft storage container owned by the Probation Service.
It holds equipment and outdoor tools including lawnmowers, brushes, wheelbarrows and spades — all used by offenders to complete their unpaid tasks.
Tevez spent around two hours tidying the steel container, surrounded by other business units. But witnesses told how the footballer lost his cool when one fan tried to get a snap of him in his new position as sweeper.
One said: “Tevez was wearing a hi-vis orange jacket with Community Payback on the back, plus a hat, black Community Payback issue boots, and grey joggers.
“He took a fair bit out of the container — it looked like he had to take it out to tidy it up. He wasn’t smiling and he didn’t look happy. I saw one lad walk up to the shed.

"He must have thought it was a great photo opportunity, but Tevez saw him and stormed up to him saying, ‘Give me phone. Delete photo, delete photo’.
“He must have said no because Tevez tried to reach for the phone to snatch it.
“But then the probation officer stepped in to defuse the situation. He was asked to delete it so he did. He didn’t want to get anyone in trouble.”
Observers told how Tevez “drew attention to himself” by arriving in the Porsche. One said: “Who does he think he is? What’s wrong with a bit of humility? He could have taken a taxi or got a mate to drop him off — instead he shamelessly rolled up in his Porsche.
“A lot of people working here are struggling to make ends meet and his car’s worth more than they’ll earn in years. It was a bit below the belt.”
Tevez, also banned from driving for a further six months by Macclesfield JPs, left the site at 11.50am last Friday after finishing his task.

And now he’s out clubbing

Di Canio cuddled by Terry

Fascism row boss Paolo Di Canio and race rap star John Terry shared a hug yesterday.
Di Canio — forced to deny he is a fascist despite past comments — was in charge of Sunderland for the first time.

Embracing ... pair yesterday
And he was warmly greeted at Chelsea by Captain John Terry, who was last year banned by the FA for alleged racial abuse. The ex-England skipper has hailed the Italian as “a nice guy”.
The hug angered many fans. Ben Claflin wrote on Twitter: “They are bonding because they’re both NOT racists.”
Thomas Mac joked: “John Terry and Paolo Di Canio meeting after the game today to plot their takeover of Europe.”Sunderland fans chanted their new manager’s name when the team took a shock lead. They went on to lose 2-1.

Gazza in memory Lane trip

Hero returns ... Paul at match
TROUBLED Paul Gascoigne looked fit and healthy yesterday as he watched his old team Spurs score a late equaliser to draw with Everton.
Gazza, 45, sat with ex-team-mate Gary Mabbutt, 51, and the happy pair laughed and joked.
And when Gazza stood up adoring White Hart Lane fans took pictures of the star clad in a jacket and pink shirt, with a pair of designer sunglasses perched on his head.
Earlier this year, recovering alcoholic Gazza — who also played for Everton — was near death after his vital organs packed up after years of alcohol abuse.
After a month in rehab, he has dropped the booze in favour of sweets and chocolates.

Fit ... Gazza
