Murray scrapes past Verdasco to reach Wimbledon semi-finals in five-set thriller

Andy Murray fought back from two sets to love down to win a match for the seventh time in his career to beat Fernando Verdasco and reach the Wimbledon semi-finals. The world No 2 had not dropped a set all tournament but he played poorly for two sets yet found his game when it mattered and came out on top in a hugely tense fifth set to win 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 7-5 after three hours and 26 minutes. In the last four Murray will meet giant Pole Jerzy Janowicz.
